Marketing professional with MBA and 7+ years of experience in consumer, partner & omni-channel marketing. Demand generation and brand experience are my specialties.
I currently work at Sony Electronics as a Channel Marketing Manager, responsible for end-to-end (in-store and online) marketing and merchandising of all Digital Imaging products within Best Buy, Sony’s largest retail account. Prior to that, I specialized in e-commerce as a Channel Marketing Manager on the Best Buy account team and managed all product categories. I started with Sony in San Diego at Corporate Headquarters where I managed the first Student Brand Ambassador Program that connected the Gen Y and Millennial audience with the Sony brand.
Prior to working for Sony, I thrived in the education industry as a Marketing Manager for Kaplan Test Prep & Admissions. After successfully increasing market share in the Silicon Valley, I was promoted to run the largest territory on the West Coast in Los Angeles. After nearly five years with Kaplan I got the itch to head off to graduate school myself.
I earned an MBA from Thunderbird School of Global Management, which has been ranked the #1 “International” Full-Time MBA by the U.S. News & World Report 18 years in a row. I obtained my BS degree in Business Administration and a Minor in French from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, a school legendary for their “Learn by Doing” motto.
I have a flair for making connections and building relationships and a pension for action. I’m skilled at staying objective while contributing insightful solutions, and I believe the best way to tell a story is through data. I am passionate about many things including technology, health & fitness, entertainment and travel.
