Hello, Kate! Kate Rushton

Thanks for your feedback. The older adults responded favorably to this concept. It started as environment scanning only, then moved into gait/stride sensing. In focus groups, these were the most understandable features, and seemed to create the most excitement. Everything else came from further iteration. I think what spurred my first concept was watching an older gentleman almost run his shopping cart off of a curb. He just didn't see the drop. I think because of this, and because of my healthy grandpa of 91 years, I would want the product to help sustain independence for the healthy older adults. In response to Khuyen Bui Gia , I really like the idea of going back to the basics of the idea. I feel like I could drop the "daily routine" and "reports" side of this, and really focus on making this into an extra set of "eyes" for the user. I was truly surprised that healthy seniors (no glasses, no cane/walker) were open to using a device like this.
Thanks again!
Brian
