Hooman and crew: Just noticed this on the BCorporation chat on Twitter... https://www.azavea.com/ They have the analytics structure you may be looking for. It would be interesting to HUB together the pressure points and figure logistics from there. Best, Evelyn
Claudia mentioned in the comments that you are developing community gardens. I’m glad to see this is part of your network. Composting by neighborhood might be a great advantage for community gardens. What other methods of composting do you have in mind?
As I was reading the funding necessities and requests it occurred to me that as a non-profit you might be able to get a percentage of credit card purchases. [There are also opportunities through sales on Amazon, etc to designate the beneficiary organization. Perhaps someone with non-profit experience can point you in the right direction… It looks like different percentages and advantages might be had depending on the sponsoring card or business.] If this works out the businesses could also promote the collection of and composting as part of credit card purchases.
I posted some UnWasted garden ideas here: https://challenges.openideo.com/challenge/food-waste/ideas/grow-gardens-are-ideas-filled-with-growing-possibilities-use-unwasted-land I hope you might find some of these ideas useful.
