Hi Michelle, Thank you for your question. One of the success story from West Africa in the last weeks is the development of a $1 test kit that has been developed in Senegal and it is currently been used. Our goal is to build on that innovation, create partnership with Senegal CDC to get it deployed in Nigeria. Furthermore, The small West African country has also embarked on 3D printing of ventilators that cost about $ 60 compared to imported ones costing $16,000 ventilator costs. Creating this sort of partnership will not only help us to get many people tested, but will also allow for effective treatment of cases.
We will also be considering other international partnerships, for instance with Abbot in the United States. They have developed a test kit that delivers accurate results in under 15 minutes. Our goal is to rapidly deploy all of these innovations to save lives quickly in Africa
