Alessia commented on Bureaucratic barriers worst than the architectural ones!

Thanks Judy,

I actually did it in the attempt to figure out myself how the process works…if I had wrote it, it would have been a never ending post!

Alessia commented on "Out of the box" mobile phone packaging

Thanks for the inspiration!
I like the idea to spot "what people is looking for when dealing with…" and the way the elder woman (in the first video) is handling the box, for some reasons, reminded me an article I read.

The article is about the attempt in helping Alzheimer's Patients while escaping from hospitals.
Alzheimer's Patients commonly feel disoriented from their surroundings with a need to "just get home"; for this reason they often escape.

An hospital in Dusseldorf, Germany found an alternative solution: the staff realized that most of the escaped patient looked for public transports so, they built a fake bus stop just in front of the hospital…

Alessia commented on When people with disabilities turn into public figures

Hi Laura,
thanks for sharing this post, you made me remind to this great Italian dancer, Simona Atzori, born without arms. Everytime I watch at her I'm always fasinated by her grace and happiness

I rember something that she said that sounds like

"Why shall we identify ourselves by looking at what we don't have rather than what we have? Most of the times boundaries are not real...they are just in the eyes of the watcher "

this statement matches with what you wrote!
