This should help smallholders and rural populations in general purchase stock, equipment, and agricultural inputs; maintain infrastructure; contract labour for planting and harvesting; transport goods to markets; make and receive payments; manage peak season incomes to cover expenses in the low season; invest in education, shelter and health; and, deal with emergencies.
