Child care centres and day care facilities are some of the amazing forms of service provided some of the organisations here in Kathmandu, Nepal. The demand for such facilities is very high and adequate facilities are not available.

Since we do not have enough funds for the construction of Temporary Learning Centres, we are participating on helping schools to clear out debris and help creation of TLC. We are also planning on psychosocial counselling to the parents as well as students.
Currently we are working on building model houses for the community of Sindhupalchok using the local resources which they can look upon while constructing their own houses. We are working on 18 such houses for about 1050 families.

Hi Matt
The government is currently working on Temporary Learning Centres which focuses on encouraging students to school retaining them in school. We aim to strengthen these learning centres and strengthen them enough for a proper schooling environment. We definitely want the students to love going to school and for this we are planning psychosocial healing, post trauma sessions and various socially engaging activities which is provided to the parents as well.
