When individuals buy a new cellphone, they’re left with the phone, manuals, a box, and packing materials. Unfortunately, most consumers throw away these boxes and packing materials. Why not use them to return the cellphones being replaced?
These are great points! The connection you draw to the HP program is really good and inspiring. I think a good way of marketing the concept to consumers would be finding a way to put these used phones into the hands of people who wouldn't otherwise be able to afford them. My only concern with going down that road would be that subscription fees (as opposed to the phones themselves) account for the lion's share of the cost of owning and using a cellphone.
