Thank you !

Hi Meena

Thanks for your suggestion. As their were word limits; i have added the following two scenarios in one of the questions

Scenario 1: Conflict between employer and employee
Sarita is a supervisor in a factory with over 500 workforce. She was once asked to accompany her boss to a late night dinner against her wish. Similar incidents were repeated in one form or other and she had to comply to protect her job. She was feeling harassed and dejected. Her low motivation due to the situation started to take a toll on her performance and her promising future was at stake. She had no clue whom to approach and take help to come out of the situation. One day she got an opportunity to attend a PSI workshop on workplace harassment. The learning from the workshop gave her a ray of hope. She came to know about the Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) and finally approached the office to register her complaint. She took the fight to her boss and with the help of ICC was able to force the higher authority take action against her boss.

Scenario 2: Good Touch Bad Touch
Lalita is a young IT professional who joined a call centre company. She works in an office which has more of male colleagues and most of who are seniors. Lalita being an extrovert and friendly person gets along well in the office group. Of lately, she realized that one of her senior male colleague has been behaving weird. He looks for opportunity to touch Lalita in places which would otherwise considered indecent. Lalita, tried to avoid him but her colleague refused to understand the message. Lalita was confused because she was not sure about good touch and bad touch and therefore was reluctant to register her protest. She attended the PSI workplace harassment workplace where there was a special session Good touch & bad touch. Her learning from the workshop helped in differentiating the good touch from the bad touch. She took appropriate action then after to protect her and punish the culprit.

In fact the scenario of Good Touch & Bad touch can also be helpful to male members of a workplace especially those who does not know where to draw the margin. The workshop can also help male members to distinguish between friendly approach to a female colleague and casual action which might be unhealthy and can put them under bad light.
