True, although in the long term we would need a scalable solution. We were thinking about a multiple choice on a tablet with the option of the software having a reading out loud option.

Hi Mansi, I am happy to hear about your idea since mobile payment penetration in India is still low , in particular because of low consumer readiness ( see for example http://mobilereadiness.mastercard.com/country/?in)
I think the incentive to first get the card and become familiar with it is quite crucial, since culturally there is less familiarity or lack of trust of using external institutions for saving money (vs saving in cash or buying durable goods). A good approach may be to list possible government subsidies that could be transferred through the card. For example, Honduras CCTs (conditional cash transfers) from the Government helped households become familiar with mobile payments and continue using them beyond the CCTs. In particular for India, the "trust" component is crucial for any new project.
