Thank you, Peggy. We look forward to collaborating with you and very much appreciate your tech innovations to support early childhood development.
One suggestion I can make initially regarding local, state, and national collaborations is to consider attending the GlobalMindED conference June 9-11 in Denver. It is a gathering of thought leaders from all backgrounds collaborating to create a supported, diverse talent pipeline from Early Childhood to end of Career for underrepresented populations, especially First-Generation to College students. Please feel free to read about the conference and this year's speakers on the website: http://www.globalminded.org/index.html. This might be a helpful springboard to begin building those collaborative partnerships!
Thank you for that suggestion, Rachel! We have made some additional connections since submitting our idea and will be incorporating more emphasis on workforce development with the guidance of implementing partners. I appreciate you reaching out and look forward to staying connected.
Hi Rebecca, We are very much looking forward to working with you to solve this vexing issue. Your work is impressive and you can add a lot to our team’s thoughts.
Are you by any chance free to join us this June 9-11 for GlobalMindED? The conference website is here: http://www.globalminded.org/conference.html. We are considering a pre-conference on Early Childhood and have a Deep Dive on this track during the conference. I’d love to explore further with you on all of these topics. Let us know your schedule.
I’m very familiar with Gallup and was just in DC earlier this week with Brandon Busteed and Jim Clifton from there on a conference on Fragile Communities. I think there is a lot that they have that can inform us and vice versa! I hope that we can continue to build on each other's work and ideas, Rebecca.
