I am a follower of this blog from Nigeria and I am an educationist. I wonder why you did not consider Nigeria at all. Every fourth African is a Nigerian and we have a huge problem with education in Nigeria. UNICEF, DFID and other multilateral organisations are in the country, working on education but quality remains very poor. A major area of concern is early childhood education which is virtually 100% private sector driven. The quality of most of the low cost schools is very poor and little children are hardly learning but are really just going somewhere safe so their parents can earn a living. I hope you will think about including Nigeria in the Amplify programme. I am aware of the image issues in Nigeria but I assure you that there are many committed individuals and organisations that you can partner with successfully.
