Hi Ashley, thanks for your questions. We have been engaging with a group of 30 parents for the past 6 months (the idea initially started as a online support group model - tested using WhatsApp and Wordpress) we have conducted telephonic interviews with all parents and come to understand their greatest challenges. We have done small experiments in the Whatsapp groups that have led us in this direction. We also have a partnership with Cerebral Palsy Western Cape and Africa Tikkun who provide support services to these parents. We have been part of a incubation programme with Innovation Edge for the past 12months. We are hoping to continue working with NGO's (MomConnect) who have strong links with government health departments as this is where the biggest gap in service is. To work directly with government at this stage is not feasible but definitely something for the future. We also have an idea to expand services into unused spaces in communities such as community centers and libraries making access easier for parents. This will require partnership with local municipalities. I hope this answers your questions. Please don't hesitate to clarify anything else.
