This idea is very ideal given the not-tapped talent languishing in our country Uganda. But my fear is one, there is a large bias to professional singers and dancers. The young talented dancers tend to be associated with social immorality and the young boys are generally associated with alcohol and drug abuse. I wonder if Rockies provides some personal administrative advice and skill to the young men and women who subscribe to it. Or associated to a church for spiritual growth and nourishment. Otherwise the initiative is one of its own kind. Thanks
True, a good example being Uganda with it very diverse ethnicity. This diversity definitely comes with a great deal of different cultures , beliefs and way-of-life. Through all the different differences, Ugandans have ably identified themselves as Ugandans before their ethnicity, Harmonious living should be put before self preservation which majorly has been showcased by the Rockies group with love and grace.
@Paco, you raise some important issues in your submission but i request to a little somehow expound on your paragraph one submission in reference to the colonial influence. As we all have to know is that time and tide change and so culture is susceptible to evolve in the long run. as such, we can not ably keep to our obsolete tendencies but swim along the tide, a point which Rockies has perfected. Otherwise I strongly concur with your submission and given chance, Rockies team is headed for much greater that anyone could ever fathom.
