Lunna commented on food waste sucks

Hi Daniel,
Thank you for your questions and feedback.
Food Tribe imagines having a contract with the food related NGOs, in order to commit with regular donations, which is their main issue. That doesn't exclude the possibility of new partnerships to be established through out the project, in fact, we want to connect with as many as possible, as our mission is to end hunger.
What I imagine with this feedback, is creating a space for co-developing these partnerships by asking foodies for suggestions.
As regard periodicity, there are technology we can use to track amount of food that has already been donated. Once sufficient food is donated, always having expiration date as an important variety, logistics for distribution will be automated.
I hope we can have at least weekly donation redistribution.
Did I answer your question?

Hi Elena,
Thank you for your questions, I should probably have this info more accessible for future presentations.
The original project target foodies, therefore we understood to-be-expire food would be the first step in the process of creating a habit.
Now that we are looking to prototype, and gathering other partners, we are open to adapt so we can have it going.
Ideally Food Tribe, our startup, will train and implement the structure necessary in order for participating restaurants to host collected donation and serve as redistribution centers.
Let me know if those answer your question. And please, you are welcome to ask more!

Michelle,
I appreciate your analysis over the behavior, change mindsets is a big challenge, but once established, it naturally lead people in acting different.
This project is not only a product-service-system, it is a movement, we aim to give people the opportunity not only to have access to do good, but also make them question their current behavior and from there, guide them in changing habits.
There are laws involved in implementing, as Terence said, we are partnering with different stakeholders in LA in order to adapt and find the MVP to start prototyping.
