"Bad decisions" often make good sense to people who make them - it is important to understand this and try to see the logic.
There is probably more research out there that shows financial education doesn't work than evidence that it does.

I don't remember what I intended by my last sentence! It was probably brilliant. But here are 2 thoughts:
1 - We will need make something that is specific enough to be useful, yet general enough to be useful to a lot of people.
2 - Platforms are a big model right now, I wonder whether there is a platform-type function that we can serve. Nothing coming to me yet, but thought I'd throw it out there.
Never done UTMB - but seen plenty of pictures. I did 50m in Moab and Wasatch, but now live in GA and the mountains here are not big or remote enough to really get me going.
This is great! Very intuitive and easy to follow. I love possibility for financially beneficial behaviors (savings, etc) to be prompted by text message. I am thinking through how something similar might be applied in a place like the US. Perhaps a smartphone version with more powerful financial tools that have been suggested in other Ideas.
