Nicole Daphne commented on PPE Design Retrofit – Same Gear Made User-Simple

Luisa, we are working to update those next steps, and will update the post soon! We would like a direct connection to the PPE manufacturing community. Thanks!

Rainer, in short, I consulted with folks already in industry solving these problems to help pre-guide our approaches and our teams. As a professional courtesy, we summarized our findings based on our collective knowledge in the Enterprise B2B industry and shared it with the OpenIDEO team, so that we could directly connect and share with PPE manufacturers. We too agree that minimizing the space between outer and inner garment would reduce a lot of the current problems, but there may be other methods after speaking with the PPE manufacturers that could help in redesigning the gear quickly while still using the current manufacturing and standards (regulatory) processes required and in place. Thanks for connecting. Cheers, Nicole

Justin, I'm flying into DC tomorrow then out just as fast. Let's connect next week perhaps? I like your approach and have several follow-up questions. I will reach out next week. V/R, Nicole
