It's very intensive and the idea is to turn the idea into a business. The goal of the program is not to get investment, the goal is to quick start the process of creating a business with the help of experience mentors and entrepreneurs. That's why that we send the 3 winning teams to incubators and accelerators. Besides, we have a growing network of people that can help them in whatever stage they are. They have easy access to this network.
I totally agree with you! I actually believe that the potential of entrepreneurship to solve social problems is much bigger that we usually thing. From solving social programs, to integrate entrepreneurship in the school curriculum, to create jobs, there is plenty of things to be done.
