Thank you, Ana Luisa! It's wonderful to be in touch and to learn about your organization. I would love to connect you with Global Dignity's Country Chair for El Salvador. Please feel free to email me at email@example.com and I will put you in touch!
Thank you so much for this, Allison! Your project is awesome--our organizations are both rooted in the same principles!
We've spoken a lot about the word "respect" with Donna Hicks, the author of "Dignity." It's a word that people often use interchangeably with "dignity" but Donna feels strongly that they are two different things (you might like to read this: https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/dignity/201304/what-is-the-real-meaning-dignity-0).
Global Dignity has a lot of learning experiences that you are very welcome to use with your Neighborkids, if it would be helpful! Here is one that gets to the heart of what dignity actually is: https://globaldignity.org/wp-content/uploads/2017/11/S04_GlobalDignity_GlobalDignityWorksheet_59EssentialElementsofDignity.pdf. And you can find the rest here: https://globaldignity.org/resources/teaching-tools/
Really looking forward to watching Neighborkid grow! It's great to be connected.
