I am the founder and CEO of SoScience, an organization harnessing the power of science and technology to generate positive impacts for the people and the planet. Prior to SoScience, I worked at the forefront of human-machines interfaces first at NTT Basic Research Laboratories and at the Brain & Spine Institute (ICM). Through my experience in the laboratory, I gained the conviction that our scientists' skills would serve a greater purpose in a more participatory and impact-centered research model.
Dear Kevin, Thank you for your comment, we are glad to see that you would find interest in being linked to scientists as a social entrepreneur! Indeed, we've engaged scientists in the past on the issue of clean cookstove, with the company Prakti Design. The topic is extremely important and there would definitely be a need for a program on that. Let's keep in touch so that we can include you in our programs as soon as we develop one on this issue and/or in the Haïti region. All the best, Mélanie
Hi Maira, congrats for your research work! We are glad that you've been inspired by SoScience and we hope that we'll be able to collaborate one day. I would be interested in hearing a bit more about how students and your academic environment interact with your class and research work? Do you implement experimentations? How are your beneficiaries impacted by your project? Some of these details may help me and others to better understand this idea! Best Clara x SoScience
