In this side of the Country, the female gender has been made to accept the belief that they are weak and need validation, hence, they are rendered handicapped and at the mercy of the male gender and the society.

They are made to do things against their will. They can't make decisions nor stand their ground as there is constant fear. A male

Gender equity is required to improve female sexual and reproductive
health. HIV and STIs devastate the population of
adolescent girls and young women.

Cultural and social gender norms restrict their access to basic information, prescribe an unequal and more passive role in sexual decision-making, undermine their autonomy,and expose them to sexual coercion.

These women are not exposed, not allowed to discuss issues on sexuality, so can not seek for help. The condition of things in IDPs is so un-imaginable, women are being abused, no protection, no family planning. The population in IDPs increases daily and the circle continues.

 There is need for intervention, and CHIC will go a long way in curbing these menace with support from the community, the CHIC ambassadors and related organisations
