In the US, it is reported that there are currently 30.3 million people with diabetes and 5.5 million with Alzheimer's. There is also published research that directly associates diabetes and Alzheimer's and calls Alzheimer's the "Type 3 Diabetes". Our focus is to increase medical compliance which encourages lower costs for families and the healthcare system. We have started with a focus on dementia and diabetes because there is a direct association with memory loss and taking medications on time, and when diabetics don't stay medically compliant there is a greater risk for devastating side effects for the entire family.
