Elizabeth commented on Regular expression of gratitude

Hi Alex! Great idea!

I think it's really interesting to publicly display the "props" for everyone to see and feel encouraged by on a daily basis. Have you considered keeping it physical, rather than converting it to electronic? By that, I mean you could consider keeping it simple and writing down the props on sticky notes and then posting it on a board that everyone can/has to see each day to encourage everyone to continue promoting gratitude (whether it's giving or showing it). I, personally, feel like it is more inspiring to physically see something you can aspire to, and I also find more sentimental value in seeing a handwritten note (personal thought!). It would also make it easier to scale, since you could then implement it within different office locations or workspaces with just some sticky note notepads and pen :)

Good Luck!

Elizabeth commented on Gratitude Makeover

Hey Olivia!
Cool idea! Also, love The Princess Diaries!!
Have you thought about how you're going to implement your idea? It'll probably be fairly expensive to pay for all the beauty supplies required to give multiple people makeovers. It's also probably going to take quite a bit of time, resources, and, consequently, money to start this initiative. You could also consider the willingness of companies to partner with you, since there could be some push-back when it comes to interrupting daily work schedules to participate in a makeover.

Also, it'd be cool to see how this could be used as an internal resource to foster gratuity within the members of the workplace, rather than outsourcing it to third-party participants.

Great idea!! I think it could be really cool if a company actually did this :)
