"Creating social change and empowerment through inclusion"
I like being involved in community outreach programs which promote collaboration and social inclusion in order to improve the society's quality of living, education, human rights, environment awareness and eco-diversity. I believe that change can be achieved if these issues are tackled with a united front, no matter our personal or professional backgrounds.
Thank you for pointing that out. I basically landed on the National Trench Safety website while looking into crash cushions and their production process and you're right. There's sand filled drums, water filled drums, roller types and many more. I believe due to the versatility of the Grind materials, different densities could be achieved to suit the use-case. I'd start with the Footwear Fiber Fluff stuffed in fabric for kiddie Go-kart tracks.
Hi Marco, Thank you, I appreciate it. I guess the leather scraps would make for an untidy-looking finish if they were too thin and uneven. I'd really like to prototype with the actual Grind materials to see if it would pan out. Haha, and the Grind branding will be done away with.
Thank you for your feedback. I was late to change the concept before the idea phase closure. I've however been researching on the production of medicine balls and the original patent by Corey Anderson Cooper and it goes to support that Nike Grind materials fit perfectly the as medicine ball raw material.
I also appreciate you clarifying the challenge's main goal to support innovators and for potential partnerships :)
