My name is Urvashi and I have founded an online, nonprofit organisation (of sorts!) and hope to reach people who want to learn more about the environment and contribute. I love piano, singing, writing, poetry, cycling and basketball. I am a feminist, an LGBT+ rights activist (though I am not one myself), an environmentalist and want to change the world.
Hi Michael, Neem is a natural antiseptic and is used all over India. It grows in abundance here. It can be used to keep away mosquitoes. Neem tea is great for the immune system. Its main purpose is medicine. Neem cures so many things I can't even list it out here! It's great for your skin and hair, and has many medicinal properties to keep them clean. It is also used in oil! It's extracts are used in branded products like facewashes and soaps. As you can tell, Neem is an amazing and powerful herb. Here is a link I found which lists out Neem's many wondrous uses.
I also looked at bamboo toothbrushes, and they seem good. But if you're buying them please make sure that the bristles are made of bamboo as well. A lot of brands use plastic bristles and claim to be ecofriendly. Good luck in Melbourne!
