The experience I have gained predominately as a graphic designer within retail, branding and packaging agencies has made me realise that I love the communications process as a whole and get just as much joy coming up with ideas and insights, imagining the best approach/ strategy for the project through questioning and discussions, as I do thinking about the art direction and details for the finished project.
Hello Luisa, Thanks so much for your kind words! I’ve got a mixture of fun/ personal and agency projects on my portfolio website. Two client projects are–
http://www.johnprimmer.com/research-horizons/ Research Horizons was created whilst working at a small agency called The District. It was great to be able to personally have complete freedom with each spread, typesetting and creating an appropriate illustration after discovering an important theme in the research article. I worked alongside two other designers and we divided each document between us, so it was lovely to compile our three distinct styles and approaches to the research articles into one journal.
http://www.johnprimmer.com/sky-movies-1/ Sky Movies, I also had free rein to create an engaging microsite visual to guide users through a music quiz and ultimately help them to generate a playlist. Since we were incorporating live orchestra videos, I used Sky’s brand colours to create a vibrant backdrop to show the excitement and fluidity of the music. I worked on this project whilst at Red Apple Creative in London. RAC’s main client was Spotify and I worked with two other designers on a whole range of digital campaigns similar to this Sky Movies campaign, for brands like McDonald's, Puma, Citi and British Airways.

Really love your approach and the final campaign idea, Jenny! I've been working out simple approaches to this campaign too, keeping it simple is best! Over time, this could build up quite a great collection of 'moments' and could definitely help with people forming ideas around this on-the-fly research
