Learning independent access skills for any child who is visually impaired is crucial to enable them to participate equally alongside their sighted peers. IT skills are absolutely of paramount importance and are lifelong core skills. The young person who learns these skills will be ready to participate in society, to work, to contribute, to take an equal place. Each young person learning IT needs their own computer/laptop to do this. This project follows best practice for children and young people with vision impairment.
