Ryan Johnson tell me more. I visited the site. Not much information on bamboo projects. Would like to know how we can collaborate.
Kate Rushton I am currently working at delivering innovative and environmentally sustainable, high-quality wooden floorboards of bamboo for local and global export. I aim to involve the local community by encouraging farmers to plant more bamboo, train and develop them to craft bamboo products and create a reliable export avenue for the finished products. My goal is to bridge poverty and planet by improving the livelihood of farmers and reducing the reliance of farmers on wood.
Bamboo provides an alternative raw resource to wood currently sourced from the harvesting of natural forests, reducing deforestation. Our multi faceted solution begins with the conversion of idle and marginalized land into productive bamboo ecosystems that provide a long term and sustainable source of bamboo poles.
