Yes i agree with you, it does not want to be a "forced", top down thing and self empowerment is SELF empowerment, nothing else, you can support, encourage in amazing ways but then, it is up to the person, that's why we always say ENGAGE support a process of self empowerment and on this there are many ways....The assumption is that with the right/conducive environment, right activities, a youth living with disability can have much better chances at making it.
