Hi Ashley, Thanks to OpenIDEO for the opportunity to participate. We are continuing to greatly benefit from the networking from this challenge! Please keep us in mind if there are any extra ways we can participate in evaluation or program development with OpenIDEO. We are available and ready to help. Any feedback from the review phase would also be appreciated. We are always looking to improve. Best, Kevin

Dear OpenIDEO, FdS Haiti is proud to announce the publishing of out emission testing results summary! The FdS stove had ZERO measurable emissions, while the charcoal stove showed 6 times a dangerous level of carbon monoxide and 12 times a dangerous level of smoke particulate matter. Please check out our results and graphs in detail:

We would love to hear your feedback!

Great. Are you still in touch with that project? How is it going? Are businesses and people paying there for electricity, or is it only gift-based? South Sudan is still a totally Humanitarian location, as I understand it. The area where you are working in Haiti is mostly Humanitarian too, but most of Haiti is in its developmental phase, and the two approaches are dramatically different, or at least successful implementations tend to be different in humanitarian v. developmental locations.
