As smart phones become increasingly widespread, I think it makes sense to publish in a mobile friendly format. That would also fit in well with the suggestion of Mitul Sarkar to make use of 3D printing.
Interesting idea! Do you have plans for assessing the effectiveness of the approach compared with more traditional approaches to learning? As well as test scores that reflect ability to regurgitate facts there should also be tests that demonstrate understanding of concepts.
The posts reporting a problem should be in the public domain to help embarrass the authorities into doing something about it. A clock could display a count of how long ago the fault was reported. Stats could be kept on progress: time to acknowledge the report, time to assess, time to fix. These could be compared with the response times the authorities aim for.
