Thanks @Chelsea Takamine! Great comments. We have included responses to your points in the body of our application, including a dedicated slide to address your point on broadening our beneficiary base. In short, while the vast majority of our applicants today would be considered marginalized (with sub $10/day incomes), we do believe there is a great opportunity to reach an even broader candidate pool, with support from IDEO and the development of a next generation of assessments designed to serve that pool. Supporting adoption of those new assessments could be awareness-raising initiatives to drive low-income jobseekers to Shortlist.
To your point on funding, yes we would indeed be open to a consortium of businesses, though we see perhaps greater short term potential with foundations, DFIs and family offices, as these have proven so far to be most aligned with Shortlist's public benefit objectives and overall mission.
