I’m a researcher, writer, and educator. I made my way into the field of design by way of the social sciences. As a grad student in Community Development, I developed a passion for ethnography, which I came to appreciate as an invaluable tool for understanding people and the challenges they faced, and more importantly, as a tool for gaining insight into how we can innovate to address them. My eagerness to have an impact beyond academia and leverage my research skills to affect change in the real world has led me to human-centered design and OpenIDEO. I'm excited to learn and play with you all!
