Building creatively challenging spaces to commandeer around in order to proceed will allow children, young people and even adults to get handsy with the space, think out-of-the-box and build solutions real time.

Hi Max,

Why do you feel older skilled people refrain from volunteering their time and skills to such communities?

Thanks Kate! Will check all of these out. :)

Higher education institutions in countries like India face a whole other set of problems - access and affordability to resources and opportunities is endemic to the system, especially for low income and marginalized members of society. It would be great if the community could think and discuss beyond first world schooling systems - it might be a rich space for new ideas to emerge. What do you think?

Hi Kate! I completely resonate with your experience. I felt overeducated yet undertrained to join any workplace with confidence. Beyond just skills that are core to one's industry, another aspect of life training that never gets addressed are soft skills! I've made sooooo many mistakes as a young working professional that I believe are easily surmountable if schooling mentally prepared me for 'real life scenarios'. :(
