Brittany, Glad that the user experience map was received and helpful in telling our story and the benefits.
Regarding how we support family caregivers of dementia patients:
For family members and other care participants, Circura provides a secure bi-directional communication platform for engaging all care providers involved in the patient's care journey. If permitted, care circle members can review and manage the patient's daily care tasks, event calendar, and recorded notes/photos through a web browser and our iOS/Android apps. The process of sharing information and access is simply administered by sending an email to connect to the platform (HIPAA compliant) and determine the level of access based on the role of the care provider. For a part-time therapist it might be just notes and calendar activities, for a family member or full-time care provider it would be all access to notes, calendars, care tasks, medication lists, etc. For the care recipient, depending on their cognitive ability/level of dementia, our in-home smart device provides a non-intrusive tool for care management. To decrease isolation and increase their engagement with those in their circle of care, the device provides call/chat capabilities and customizable audio reminders for events and wellness activities. Additionally, the smart device becomes the hub for collecting and reporting health data that’s manually entered or recorded by wearables, remote sensors, and IoT devices.
I just attended the Private Duty Conference, most people own and operate care agencies and the biggest topic was attracting and keeping caregivers...could this idea be used as incentives and rewards for employees?
Kate, Appreciate your interests. We are just kicking off our beta test in conjunction with the clinical trial we have underway at Centre of Aging and Brain Health. If you can send me an email at firstname.lastname@example.org I can send you the details of the beta participation.
I would like to say that we are not a home monitoring solution...we have a cloud application and in-home smart device that connects all involved in an individuals care circle. The in-home smart device does connect to IoT, remote monitors and smart devices (150 currently) so that any information collected (smart or manual) can be sent in real-time to those permitted into the individuals care circle.
Send me a quick email at email@example.com and I can send more details
