Creating cooperatives here in Nigeria is procedural as registeration needs to be done. Before then, a form of mass awareness is created and a platform made for interactions and objectives spelt out so that every volunteer is aware. This awareness will have targeted audience mostly youths and it's taking right from the grassroots then gradually to the state , geopolitical zone level and nationwide coverage.

At the grassroot level, participants are trained and from there, they are spread out to coordinate the state level till nationwide spread. Though, room is giving for creativity and flexibility so it's not just centralized to a specific few.

Then stakeholders are invited on the platform to share in their experiences and training commences. In the course of the training, registeration of the cooperative commences and is completed so that it's recognized fully as a body. Also, some registered cooperatives here are included and also trained.

There are are laws here covering cooperatives too and as the Nigerian economy is at the moment, SME's are getting assistance from relevant authorities, government and from the Bank of Industry.

This initiative will very well work here in Nigeria as more consumers are moving to the use of solar energy as means of power supply. Also, some farms in the southwestern part of Nigeria are upgrading to solar system access to the general government power supply is limited due to the location of their farms.
