Our e-waste has huge impact on the environment. It is taken to China where it forms lanscapes that release toxines and alter the lives of those ones near by.
Oure responsibility must go beyond buying and trashing. We must be hold accountable!

I agree on feeling uncomfortable about training homeless teenagers for kitchen soups, as by default elimination options for them without even letting them choose who they want to be. This is re reason why I created this curriculum. In order for them to discover new ways of survival and education as a matter of fact. Once they have/see and experience the options, they get to choose, but we as "privileged" should not choose for them.
If the idea of a soup kitchen should be applied, I would rather providing them the opportunity of developing a business plan in which they decide what service to offer.

Tamar, what do you mean by a more engaging visual? do you mean a different image?

Isabel commented on E-Cycle Truck

Here in San Francisco, food trucks have become very popular. I see this idea becoming equally popular.

I think one of the reasons why people don't make much effort when disposing e-waste is because there is a lack of knowledge on where to take all the electronics. If a truck moves around neighborhoods and lets its people know about it, I bet people would become more conscious.

Perhaps this truck can go to all the different farmers markets happening in town, that way people for the neighborhoods get used to it and can always count on it.
