As a person who has worked in emergency situations for some time including IDP camps, I believe this is a good initiative. Help for the vulnerable is never too much. However, I'm concerned that the setting for this idea is a high risk environment. I believe advocacy and training of locals is the best approach before disaster occurs. Thereafter, the question of sustainability and access for and to your team comes up in actual disaster settings. Otherwise, it's a relatively simple setup when camp's have been set up. Lastly, co-operation with other organisations and agencies especially the ICRC is necessary.
