I guess I should do some research on minors. I didn't even think about it because of my own bad experience. My minor was restricting me and I couldn't choose the courses I really wanted, that's why I got rid of it.
I think these ideas are quite compatible. And I like the idea of connecting people through this platform in order for them to collaborate. I think developing persons social skills is very important part of learning.
Thank you for your feedback Sarah. I was once a lost student too. But during my semester abroad I had this amazing opportunity to have one-on-one counseling that broadened my worldview and get to better understand myself. My only regret is that I did not go through something as soon as I enter my university.
Regarding your second point, I totally agree with you. I have a really good friend who got his Bachelors degree in electrical engineering. He did not enjoy what he was studying, but nevertheless he was determined enough to get that degree. Today he is working as an accountant, he loves his job, but he still has some lingering regrets that he did not study something related to what he is doing now.
