Hi William, I Love the idea of getting paid to learn. Because i believe some students are already crippled by constantly worrying about life after graduation (Debts, employment etc...). I think the idea will boost their confidence as they'll be able to network, create contact corporations and have a good reputation. Therefore, they'd be able to feel pumped about about graduation because the'll have a greater chance. Great work! Hopefully this progresses well (y)
Great project from you and even better to read that this has turned into action. I'm from the DRC myself and i'm aware of the lack of opportunities and employment in the society. I think education ( Attending School, university etc..) is great but there's a high number of unemployment among the people and that include graduates, intellectuals and so on.. you get people not doing anything for a period of time because of the lack of supports, training, knowledge and jobs. I believe this idea is a great one, it's definitely something that's not common in the DRC as far as i'm aware and also by this, they'll be able to gain knowledge, practical experience and be flexible as they'll be involve in various tasks. This is really great work, hope to hear about how this project has developed in the DRC.
This is a great post and i agree everything you've mentioned. I think teachers are not only seen as teachers but also as role models for the children. So teachers having a positive mindset will have a massive impact on students. My question is are these teachers have to be fully qualified or just have a good knowledge of the subject with a decent level of qualification?
