Hi Nick-Thanks for your kind comment and your support! We agree--our students tell us that they LOVE getting out of the classroom and sitting down in person with a local business leader who inspires them. They tell us that the experience of having an appreciative, positive conversation about "what's going right?" at a business actually changes how the student sees his or her own potential to be a world-changing leader. Our students tell us that they learn about "business for good" and CSR in the classroom, but actually experiencing it makes it real for them.
Hi Kate--Thank you so much for your support and for your question! Today, we are focused on providing the AIM2Flourish experience and platform to higher education business and management students, just for the sake of being focused! We would LOVE to bring in students and professors from other disciplines.
One of our dreams is to have student teams with a STEM student, a business student, a journalism student, and a visual or performing arts student--wouldn't that be incredible? We know that the students would learn so much from each other. As well, as know that an interdisciplinary approach would create far more amazing insights about the business' innovation. Further down the road, we'd love to have an AIM2Flourish offering that is suitable for high school students and even younger. The sooner that students learn about, know, and appreciate how business leaders in their own community are solving real issues, the better! Our goal is for EVERY student to graduate knowing that he or she is empowered and ready to make the world a more beautiful place for everyone.
