Good student turned adventurer, Traditional parents confused.
Hey All! I am Lucy, currently a Founding student at an innovative college, Minerva School at KGI, a new college cultivate critical and creative global citizens. Growing up in mainland China, I have taken some initiatives to encourage self-awareness of middle school girls.
I believe in Design x Technology for social good. I often fall in love with questions and design starting from discomfort, disconnect and discrepancy.

There are APPs designed on the principles of conglomeration, like degreed.com, Flipboard and pocket. I wonder if conglomeration along makes Learnify a unique learning tool.
Couple things might be interesting to develop on top: 1 Notes function - Learning on the go is great yet listening to lecture can be different from a podcast. It is ok for me not to take notes for podcast and just get the general idea. Leactures have higher requirement for learning outcomes. 2 Visualize and activate summarization - Lots of people in the community have been discussing self-reflection and reorganization of their knowledge to deepen learning.
Looks interesting. Dissecting levels of knowledge is definitely crucial for learners to reflect on what they are learning.
What scale are you thinking about to develop this idea? Is it going to be a tool kit for a certain group of students? Will there be sample challenges and excericises designed to facilitate such thinking? What about a tracking system for students to organize their knowledge around this?
This reminds me of Gabriel Landowski 's idea of constructing learner's knowledge structure. Maybe what-why-how can be a methods used to reflect and organize the learnings? What do you guys think?
The idea looks great. I am wondering what is the special value of having a human coach comapred with tech solutions, for instance features like Leanring Path on lynda.com, micro-degrees on EdX. Even more, degreed.com is developing a tool to help students to document their learning of all sorts.
