Hi Karen - thank you for this important contribution. I love the focus on text messaging, a technology that is accessible to nearly all families. I am wondering how you would envision this program supporting families whose home language may not be English, and those who have children with IEPs?
Thanks Isaac! We envision Cognitive ToyBox at Home to be a teacher and family engagement tool during Covid-19 and beyond. Some features we are building out in the short-term are specific to this school closure context. However, in the long-term, we envision this adaptation to be complementary to our core classroom product. Having both school and home components will strengthen student support at the earliest years, improving students' academic trajectories and enabling them to thrive.
