Hi Chenai, Thanks for your comment. We are training facilitators so they can manage this. It starts from the type of songs, the environment under which it is organsied, time of day and many other aspects. We are also training facilitators who will debrief at each stage, therefore making sure the right information is shared and we reach target audience. So far, what we have learnt most is that smaller crowds is better and sometimes it is important to use hall and not just streets depending on the community.
Hi Bettina, Young people like entertainment, so we are bringing them entertainment in the form of a bash-like street party but what is different here is that the choose of songs, music and dance type is focusing on teaching bodily integrity, boundaries, confidence etc. So it is tailored such the trained facilitator knows how to organise such a party in his community with a focus on music type, dance steps guides, coining messages during the party etc.
