Thank you Paul for you comment. The interesting aspect of this project is also the fact that it can involve various stakeholders and members of the OpenIdeo community in certain fases including: 1. contacts with possible distributors, (corporate and International aid organizations working in disaster areas). 2. replicate production model with other their local produce. 3. generate possible international brand where different super foods can be produced (bars, powder, baby food, among others). Dear Ashley, thank you for your question. We made lab test of some of the main products we want to use in the bar, including cocoa. Ecuadorian cocoa is the most demanded in the world, its variety "fino de aroma" is the one these farmers produce and will be one of the main product we will use. We are also working with food engineers in designing the recipe and manufacture method. Our timeline involves: Month 1 and 2- finalize recipe, equip stocking center and design brand and packaging. Month 3- start stocking produce and processing it. Month 4- start producing bars. Month 6- launch event for domestic market. Month 7- distribute to international markets for testing.
