Vanessa commented on OUTTURN: A Produce Bag Alternative

Hi Michael Greene ,
Thank you so much for your feedback! This definitely helps us think about the challenges we will come across. You're right the product will be thicker with potentially less bags in each roll, however due to their ability to be reused, we are hoping that consumers will bring these mesh bags back along with the reusable bags they're already bringing to do their grocery shopping. We think this reusable bag will ultimately change the habits of consumers, so much so, that stores will actually decrease their need to have fully stocked bag dispensers as is necessary today reducing their shipping/trucking cost. As far as your last question we have preliminary research that says hemp is safe but of course we would need to test our material as a prototype to ensure that there isn't anything we're missing. Thanks again!

Hi olanrewaju Giwa For sure! My team is envisioning a "next step" solution to Chicago's plastic problem, the idea is in its research and early testing phase. Do you have any constructive criticism that could help us move forward with our solution?

Vanessa commented on Cellophane-Biodegradable Alternative to Plastic Sachets

Hi Rajesh!
In our research we found that a lot of biodegradable plastics needed to be be composted in commercial composting facilities. Would this be true with your product?
