The volunteers will, at least initially, be medical professionals. Similar to an education system, before going into refugee camps there will be a comprehensive curriculum established and reviewed by several organizations around the world to ensure that the women in these areas are given all the accurate information they need. Have you considered having doctors come into these communities to facilitate the talks? It does not have to be a permanent situation, but if doctors are facilitators in a sort of clinic like atmosphere, at least initially, it is easier to break the cultural barriers claiming that sexual education should occur in hospitals. Basically, is there some way to bring the hospital to the community at first then slowly weaning to the radio implementation?
Is there any concern that, as sometimes happens in Boys and Girls clubs, the children will blow off the education because they are so focused on the recreational aspect presented to them? Perhaps giving a snack time in such a way that the children have to listen to a brief lesson and answer a question correctly before they can get their snack and go play again.
