"Be like a lotus... Be grateful to the mud, water, air and the light (~Amit Ray)"
I am a hospice palliative care psychosocial clinician and educator constantly learning about the depth of love and value of life. I have had the privilege of caring for those facing a life-limiting illness for the past 17 years and have been at the bedside with thousands of families following diagnosis of a life-limiting illness and at end-of-life. In addition to providing interprofessional education in hospice palliative care, I recently launched my own community-based practice and facilitate storytelling and family-centred legacy projects to foster resiliency and empower grieving families.
