Not only because it's already a functioning business model, but because it could clearly be expanded rapidly into a company with significant geographic and product diversity. It seems like a major cause for a lot of food waste is that it's too expensive to preserve a lot of it, and is left to rot because when it comes to agricultural surplus it's usually been more cost effective to not-harvest it and not sell it, than to harvest it and not sell it.
