I am a Master's Degree holder in Economics having nearly two and a half decade long restless engagement advocating and campaigning for the protection and promotion of working poor especially women in the informal economy. I am a co-founder of HomeNet Nepal which was established in 2000 since then I have been even more focused on organizing working poor in their Membership Based Organizations(MBOs). My role in HNN are to advocate for pro-poor policy promulgation and its effective implimentation and also to designe campaing modality to bring the voices, concerns and issues of working poor such as fair wage, maternity benefit, housing, oldage benefit and child care into the center mainstream of the national plan and program. I am also playing my role as a Task Force Member of National Poverty Alleviation Policy Drafting Committee of the Government of Nepal representing HomeNet Nepal.
